Pre-Primary Program (Ages 15 months – 3 years)
Guided learning in a calm, joyful environment
Our Pre-Primary Program offers a structured yet flexible environment for 15–month to 3–year–olds to explore, discover, and develop independence. It’s a gentle introduction to the Montessori method, built around hands-on activities and Biblical values.
We have two pre-primary classrooms. One class is conducted in English with weekly Spanish lessons. The other class is conducted primarily in Spanish with daily songs, stories, and conversation, thereby establishing early second-language fluency & cultural appreciation.
Indicators that your child is ready for our pre-primary program:
- Walking comfortably
- Weaned off pacifier
- Self-feeding
Where Wonder Meets Purpose
Nurturing independence, curiosity, and faith in each little heart.
At this formative age, your child is rapidly developing new skills — physically, emotionally, and socially. The Pre-Primary Program at Montessori West Christian School is designed to gently guide 15–month to 3–year–olds through these milestones in a loving, faith-filled environment.
Each classroom is carefully prepared to resemble our Primary space, offering continuity in both layout and learning areas. Children engage with practical life, sensorial, language, and math materials tailored to their stage of growth.
As children become increasingly independent, they begin to exhibit qualities like self-discipline, respect, joy, and a desire to learn — not through force, but through freedom within a structured environment. Our certified Montessori teachers give individual and small group lessons based on each child’s readiness and interests.
Program Highlights:
